What are the most common ways to start working with Metron Growth?

Most engagements begin with one of five shapes. A customer data strategy workshop is a three-hour in-person session that maps your customer journey and identifies the biggest opportunities. A data strategy is a deeper 4 week engagement where we map your goals and audit tools, data, people and process to produce a customer data strategy roadmap. An audit is a targeted review of your existing tools and data. Great when you have data governance trust issues or aren't realising the full value of your tools. Is Metron Growth a growth agency or a growth consultancy?

We're a consultancy, not an agency. We don't do media-buying or produce creative. Our engagements are project-based advisory and build work focussed on using data infrastructure, marketing technology and AI agents to send stronger optimisation signals to ad networks, create deeply personalised experiences and improve customer journey metrics like conversion, activation and retention. Most agencies get paid to keep the lights on, running campaigns on your behalf month after month. We design the system, implement it and hand it over. What services does Metron Growth offer?

We offer eight core services, grouped into three areas. Data infrastructure: data strategy, customer data platforms and data warehouse builds. Activation: lifecycle marketing, paid media optimisation and Growth AI agents. Measurement: marketing attribution and product analytics. Most engagements combine two or three of these areas to deliver a real outcome.

How does a Metron Growth engagement work?

We have a tested process developed through 100+ real projects: define, audit, plan, build, enable, measure & optimise. We start by being extremely clear on your business goals, then go deep on the current state of your tools and data. We produce a clear roadmap along with PRDs and Jira tickets for your engineering team to implement while we focus on configuring tools, creating integrations and building campaigns. We build everything in your environments so you own it from day one with no vendor lock-in. We deliver the first real use cases in 4-6 weeks. After this, we can move onto other use cases or start running experiments to drive more impact. More on the approach.

Do you work as an embedded data team?

Yes, all Metron Growth teams work hand in hand with your team. We don't go away for 4 weeks then come back with a solution. We meet with you weekly, sharing progress and taking feedback. This means you get the right thing first time and we're able to upskill your team along the way. If you're short on capacity and need help clearing (or creating) a backlog then we can provide fractional marketing operations teams on a flexible basis to fill the gap.

Can you help with a MarTech or platform migration?

Yes, we do a lot of platform migrations. We can also help audit your existing setup & recommend improvements. Example projects include moving from one CDP to another (often Tealium or mParticle to Segment), switching engagement platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud to Customer.io or Braze) or bringing historic data from your data warehouse into a new product analytics tool. We audit your current implementation, design the new architecture, run the migration and manage cutover with zero data loss.

What results should we expect?

Every engagement is different, but you should expect us to start delivering real use cases within 4-6 weeks. If your goal is to optimise marketing signals for paid media then we usually aim for a 10-20% improvement in CAC or ROAS. Other metrics we focus on include conversion, activation, retention and lifetime value. Regardless of the goal, we'll ensure there's a clear roadmap and that we're measuring our progress transparently.

How do you measure success on a project?

We agree clear goals and KPIs at the beginning of every engagement.
